Cash passport

Alba Travel can now issue a prepaid currency card that offers the security of travellers’ cheques with the convenience of a card.  There are no fees to obtain the cash passport and it is not linked to your bank account.  Pre-load with your spending money (minimum £50) and withdraw local currency from over 1 million Visa ATMs, or use it at any retailer displaying the Visa Electron logo. Lock-in your rate for US$ & € so no unexpected charges when you return home.  If it is lost or stolen, the balance can be replaced while you are still overseas.

The cash passport can be issued immediately, but you must be present in person and produce photographic ID, i.e. Passport or Driver’s Licence.
