It's legendary for theme parks such as Walt Disney World Resort, Seaworld Orlando and Universal Orlando Resort but offers a whole host of other attractions and activities as well. For those that want to take advantage of the weather and soak up a little sun on the beach, drive to Clearwater or St Pete Beach on the Gulf Coast where the sea and sand awaits. Just a couple hours drive from Orlando, Clearwater is the perfect destination for beach lovers with 35 miles of white sandy beach running from Clearwater to St Pete Beach , three beaches ranked in the top 10 of the entire USA and 12 award winning Blue Flag beaches.
The impressive 4* Sheraton Vistana Villages resort is situated on the quieter, southern end of International Dive in Orlando and offers very well appointed one or two bedroomed self catering apartments. These excellent apartments are just around a 5 mile drive from both Walt Disney World Resort and Universal Orlando Resort and 1 mile from Seaworld Orlando and a free scheduled service is offered from the accommodation to Walt Disney World Resort for those not wanting to drive every day. When you are not sampling the delights of the parks you can choose between four swimming pools including one with a cool pirate ship and waterslide and another with a spectacular waterfall and rocks. Or enjoy tennis, table tennis, volleyball or basketball or one of the many other pursuits available. There are organised children's activities too. Food wise the resort offers an on site restaurant, deli, pool bar and grill.
All apartments have a fully equipped kitchen with washer/dryer and dishwasher, living room with queen size sleeper sofa, TV, CD player, air conditioning, safe, iron/ironing board and most have a furnished balcony or terrace. All two bedroomed apartments have a luxurious whirlpool bath in the master bedroom.
Prices shown below are total prices for a family of four (two adults and two children up to 19 years) and include flights, prebooked seats, 20 kilos checked baggage per person, in flight meals, intermediate 4 door car hire with all inclusive insurance for the vehicle for the holiday duration and 14 nights accommodation in a one bedroomed apartment on a self catering basis.

We stayed at this fantastic resort in May 2010 and loved it so much that we've booked to go back again this October. I can't speak highly enough of this property - we had a spacious one bedroomed apartment with full size fridge/freezer, huge cooker, microwave, enormous bathroom with a jacuzzi bath and walk in shower and a lovely furnished balcony overlooking one of the children's playgrounds and the "quiet" pool. We only got round to using the "quiet" pool and the pool with the Pirate Ship and slide which our 5 year old loved. The pools were all open until late - the one beside our apartment was open till around midnight and was great to relax in after a busy day at the parks. There are several playparks within the resort and both gas and charcoal barbecue areas dotted around the grounds for guests to use whenever they like. For those athletic types there is an air conditioned gym which seemed to be very popular - not with me though! One of the premium outlet malls is about a 15-20 minute walk or a couple of minutes drive away and there are a choice of restaurants within a few minutes drive away too.
